ElevenLabs launched a new version of ElevenMusic on Wednesday, bolting streaming and remixing onto its AI music generator. Free accounts get seven generations per day. Pro at $9.99 per month, or $95.90 annually, lifts the ceiling to 500 tracks.
The catalog opens with around 4,000 mostly emerging artists. Listeners can shift the tempo or genre of any track, or build new songs from text prompts. Tracks made on the consumer plan only stream inside the service. To drop a song into a game or ad, users have to step up to the Music Marketplace tier in ElevenCreative, which handles commercial licensing.
ElevenLabs is reusing the payout model from its voice library, which it says has handed creators more than $11 million to date. That figure is self-reported. Music strategy lead Derek Cournoyer pitched the rollout as a "new gateway into DJing," per Billboard. The press release skipped the actual mechanics of how artists will get paid.
The underlying Eleven Music model shipped in August 2025 with licensing deals from Merlin and Kobalt. This week's release is the consumer-facing layer built on top.
