Mistral has renamed Le Chat to Vibe and pitched it as a work agent rather than a chatbot. The French startup laid this out in its launch post at its AI NOW Summit in Paris this week. Accounts, settings, and old conversations carry over.

Work Mode is the headline. Vibe plugs into Google Workspace, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, and GitHub, then scans inboxes, pulls numbers from spreadsheets, and assembles reports. Before it does anything, it lays out a step-by-step plan and waits for your sign-off. Recurring jobs can run on a daily or weekly schedule, or get saved as reusable templates, which is close to the skills feature Anthropic shipped for Claude.

Then there's Code Mode. Agents work inside isolated sandboxes, write code, fix bugs, generate tests, and push all the way to a pull request. Sessions run in parallel and survive a closed laptop. Mistral says Slack-triggered coding lands in June.

Pricing is where it gets murky. Free, Pro at 14.99 euros a month, Team at 24.99 euros per user, and Enterprise on request. Mistral won't give hard usage caps, only multiples of the free tier: up to six times the messages, up to 40 times the image generations, with no baseline number to multiply against. Pro and Team share identical quotas; the extra 10 euros buys admin tools, not more usage. Vibe runs at chat.mistral.ai.

Bottom Line

Vibe now connects to Google Workspace, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, and GitHub under one license, with Pro at 14.99 euros a month.
