Manus rolled out an app publishing feature that skips the usual Xcode and Android Studio setup entirely. Describe an app, build it through Manus, and the platform now packages it for either store's testing pipeline.
The Help Center documentation outlines two separate workflows. For Android, Manus outputs an AAB file ready for Google Play Console upload. The iOS path goes further: Manus creates the app entry in your Apple Developer account, packages the build, and uploads it directly to App Store Connect. TestFlight handles distribution from there.
This doesn't put apps live in stores. The feature handles the testing infrastructure that precedes any public release. You still need platform accounts, $99/year for Apple's Developer Program, $25 one-time for Google Play. And you'll still navigate each store's review process for anything beyond internal testing.
The timing follows Manus's January 11 release of version 1.6 Max, which the company said improved task success rates. The publishing feature is available to users with "Develop Apps" enabled.
The Bottom Line: Manus now handles mobile build packaging that typically requires macOS and Xcode knowledge, though store submission and review remain manual.
