Anthropic and Accenture announced a major expansion of their partnership today, creating a dedicated Accenture Anthropic Business Group to help enterprises move AI projects from pilot phase to full production. The deal makes Anthropic one of Accenture's select strategic partners with its own practice, teams, and go-to-market focus.

Approximately 30,000 Accenture professionals will receive Claude training, forming one of the largest ecosystems of Claude practitioners globally. Accenture also becomes a premier partner for Claude Code, which now commands over half of the AI coding market according to Menlo Ventures' 2025 enterprise AI report. The tool will roll out to tens of thousands of Accenture developers.

The partnership targets regulated industries first: financial services, life sciences, healthcare, and public sector. A new joint product for CIOs will help engineering organizations measure AI productivity gains and ROI. Anthropic's enterprise market share has jumped from 24% to 40% over the past year.

"Our new partnership means that tens of thousands of Accenture developers will be using Claude Code, making this our largest ever deployment," said Dario Amodei, Anthropic's CEO. Accenture Chair and CEO Julie Sweet called it a way to help clients "accelerate the shift from experimenting with AI to using it as a catalyst for reinvention."

The companies will co-invest in a Claude Center of Excellence inside Accenture and integrate Claude into Accenture's network of Innovation Hubs, where Global 2000 clients can prototype AI solutions before enterprise-wide rollout.

The Bottom Line: Anthropic's enterprise market share doubled to 40% as the company lands its largest deployment deal yet, with 30,000 Accenture professionals set to train on Claude.
